Two ways to handle visible cables
Surface cable covers keep the cable run on the face of the wall inside a cover. This can work when an in-wall route is unsuitable or you want to limit wall openings. The cover remains visible, so its position should be planned with the TV and furniture.
In-wall concealment routes suitable cabling through the wall cavity. The route must be checked for obstructions and a suitable path to the connected devices. Power must be handled with an appropriate installation; a standard TV power cord is not an in-wall cable.

Replacing an existing wall-mounted TV
