Soundbar Mounting & TV Audio Setup

Plan the TV and soundbar as one arrangement

A soundbar can be fitted below a mounted television for a coordinated setup. The right position depends on the soundbar model, the TV height, speaker directions and available clearance. Send both model numbers so the placement and hardware can be reviewed before the appointment.

Wall-mounted or attached to the TV bracket

An independent wall bracket keeps the soundbar fixed. A compatible TV-bracket accessory may allow it to move with the screen. The complete assembly must be suitable for the equipment and load; an accessory is not approved merely because its holes line up.

Leave the speakers room to work

Upward- and side-firing speakers need the clearances specified by the manufacturer. Controls, microphones and ventilation must remain accessible. A narrow decorative gap is not a reason to ignore the soundbar's placement instructions.

Plan connections before mounting

Identify the supported TV audio connection, such as HDMI ARC/eARC or an appropriate alternative, and the location of power. If the television turns, check the cable path through its intended movement. Include receivers or other devices that affect the sound connection.

Check the functions you use

The agreed setup can include checking TV sound, source switching and volume control with your equipment. Have the remotes and any required app access available. Complete private account sign-ins yourself.
