Can the existing bracket stay?
We look at the mount's model and load rating, its condition and its attachment to the wall. The new television must also fit its VESA pattern, the spacing between the mounting holes on the back of the TV. Matching the screen size alone does not establish compatibility.
A usable bracket may still need repositioning. The mounting holes can sit higher or lower on the replacement TV, changing the finished screen height even when the wall plate stays in place. We also check whether cables and inputs can be reached with the TV installed.
Decide on the cable route before the screen goes up
A surface cable cover can tidy the run between the TV and a console. An in-wall route depends on the wall cavity, obstructions and the cables involved. Power needs its own suitable arrangement; an ordinary TV power cord or extension cord should not be pushed into the wall.
Tell us where your cable box, console or receiver will remain. If a full-motion mount is being used, its movement needs to be considered when planning cable length and clearance. We can discuss the options before committing to wall openings.
